Family ValuesThe concept of "family values" is rooted in each individual culture thus making the values different for different societies. In addition, cultures change over time in response to economic, political, and cultural developments. Therefore, "family values" vary from household to household, from country to country, and from generation to generation. There are so many various types of people with different ethnic backgrounds, culture and manner of living. Some families have poor, mediocre or virtuous family values, however what one may consider as mediocre may seem poor to someone else and vice-versa. I think the most significant values of the family are unity, honesty and education. So why are Family values Important? This is where our kids learn there first lessons, it is there foundation and without it they can fall like an unstable house in there adulthood.

Family unity is a family being together in harmony on holidays and enjoying special occasions.

Regardless of how bad a conflict can be between family members it should bring us closer together and make our bond stronger. Family unity is when you have their support through infancy to adulthood, guiding me with good values. A major factor is communicating with each other. During my childhood stages my parents had to work so hard to provide for my brother and I. This change in society where both parents have to work has affected many families because there is less time available for communication. Regardless, Family is just as important. A child needs direction from the childhood up to adulthood not the reverse. When children become adults and their parents with more time on there hands are persistent to spend time and teach values that were not taught in the early years, is like teaching a dog new tricks.
