Future of Newspapers Although some may argue that newspapers are doomed for extinction, I believe newspapers are like cockroaches lasting into the future. I believe that the advantages of print newspapers and online newspapers outweighs the disadvantages of print and online newspapers. The advantages will help print newspapers and online newspapers last into the future.

The advantages of print and online newspapers help keep newspapers on our newsstands, in our bookstores, on the Internet, and in any other place they are sold or read. One advantage of print newspapers is that it is portative. It can be read at home, in the office, on a bus, in the subway, or in any other place where people may want to read newspapers. Another benefit of print newspapers is that it can be shared with others.

While one person reads about the weather, another person can read the sports section. An advantage of online newspapers is that the news is always current.

Print newspapers take time to get distributed but online newspapers only require an Internet connection for distribution. Another advantage of online newspapers is that it is easy to access. All you need to do is access the Internet from home, school, or work and log onto the website for the online newspaper.

The disadvantages of print and online newspapers help editors see how they can improve to keep newspapers lasting into the future. One disadvantage of print newspapers is that it is not always current. Readers have to wait until the next day to get the most current news. An article in the New York Times states that "A newspaper's arrival in proximity to your doorstep often depends on the arm of a kid on a bicycle or an adult in a moving car"¦".
