Whenever fashion is discussed the name Giorgio Armani is not far behind. Leading the way in style revolution of the 1980s he dressed some of Hollywood's foremost names. His unconstructed couture had a refreshing sense of elegance and class. Still to this day Armani is a top name is the rough and tumble field of fashion. Giorgio Armani contributed to history by reshaping the world's fashion culture.

Armani was born July 11, 1934 in Piacenza, Italy near the city of Milan. He was born in an era of conflict and strife. During his childhood he and his siblings had to see the regime of Benito Mussolini a fascist dictator. Through this seemingly transient time in history Armani's only escape was the local cinema which he attended often watching American films with actors such as Humphrey Bogart. Largely influenced by his American counterparts later in his fashion life. He originally went to a public school in Milan bur grew restless.

Later on he went to Milan Medical School to study to become a doctor. Leaving after a short stay he started working at a Milan department store in 1957. There he worked as an assistant clothing photographer. After some ime of working in this position it was seen that he was made for bigger and better things. Then he was promoted to a style office. This was his first time to be introduced to Italian fashion. Never having formal fashion education he was self-taught. From the first second he touched fabric he was on the uprising to the pinnacle of fashion movements.

Armani always conscious of his surroundings kept himself perfect in his eyes. When saying this I mean he never ate meat believing it was impure for the mind, body, and soul. He always kept in great physical condition. Very...
