Executive summaryObesity is one of the common problems faced by people today. It is not difficult to notice that over the past 30 years, world population has become considerably bigger, especially in North America and some European countries. Overeating, consuming unhealthy and fatty foods, lack of exercise, as well as chaotic and hurried lifestyle are the most common causes attributed to obesity.

People who are obese experience quality-of-life impairments. Not only they are limited in many joys of life, but what even more importantly, excessive weight is a main cause of many health-related problems and high mortality rate. In many cases (9 million people), the situation is absolutely critical. The body mass of those people is at least 1.5 times higher than their normal weight should be. In some instances, unfortunately not very rear, the body mass is two times higher than the norm.

Present situation cannot and must not be ignored either by Federal Health Association or by private medical entities.

Those million of people who were caught in severe obesity trap have to be helped. Fortunately, there is new effective solution that has been recently developed to help combating severe obesity.
