One of Earth's major danger issues currently is the 'Global Warming' or 'The Greenhouse Effect'. The Greenhouse Effect is the process by which the Earth is made warm enough for all living things to survive. But because the Earth is becoming warmer than it used to be, we are heading towards possible danger that may cause all living things on the earth to perish. This slow rising of temperature is known as the 'Global Warming'. The Earth's temperature will increase between 2.4oF-10.4oF from 2002-2100 if no major efforts are undertaken,

This is how the Greenhouse Effect on the Earth works naturally; the sun's radiation passes through the Ozone Layer towards the Earth's surface. The Earth's surface then absorbs some of the radiation and reflects the rest, and the greenhouse gasses then absorbs the radiation and reradiates them. But because of some natural and man-made commissions the Greenhouse Gasses are increasing and as a result they are trapping more solar radiation, which is making the atmosphere warmer than it was before.

Greenhouse gasses are any gas that absorb and reradiate infrared solar radiation. These include Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Water Vapour, Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Halogenated Fluocarbons, Per fluorinated Carbons, Hydrofluocarbons, Ozone and Chlorofluocarbons (CFC-11 & CFC- 12). 98% of total global greenhouse gas emissions are natural (mostly water vapour); only 2% are from man-made sources.

If this process (The Greenhouse Effect) continues, we will be facing some serious danger: floods, increase in heat-stress mortality, an estimated 50cm raise on the sea level, shortage of clean drinkable water, shortage of land for people to live in, increase in diseases like dengue, yellow fever, malaria and encephalitis, increased chance of fire, disease, and insect damage in forests, lots of the forests would be destroyed, more demand on electricity energy, increase...
