As a human being, I encourage you to love your fellow man. As a Christian, I discourage you from judging your fellow human being. This is a mistake many Christians have made when it comes to homosexuals. Often many people, who proclaim to follow Christ, condemn homosexuals; and not just homosexuals, other human beings. Christ, the savior, said that aside from loving him, the second and equally important commandment, was to love your neighbor as yourself.

Recently, I was at a meeting at Blue Sky church, where I was surprised to find my pastor telling us about an email dialogue that had taken place between him and a lesbian woman, who, with her partner was looking for a church in Loveland that had tolerant views on the issue of homosexuality.

"She asked me what Blue Sky thought of homosexuality, and I gave her the same generic reply I give everyone who asks about the church.

She sent me another email wanting to know specifically what the church believed in. I sent her a reply saying that I, biblically based, disapproved of her practices."

I replied, "Will this church be a place where people are first and foremost lesbians and the Christians; or first and foremost Christians, and then lesbians?"

The discussion then started with several other parishioners saying if a lesbian came to our services they would feel strange about it and very timid about worshiping the lord with that in mind.

Now imagine my surprise when people who tell me that we are all in this together, and I am forgiven of anything, suggested that these people were different than us. I was informed that they would not inherit the kingdom of...
