What is a hero? A hero is one who has good manners, respectful, generous, trustworthy, faithful, dependable, and responsible. If a hero is someone who risks their life for others, then Oskar Schindler is truly a hero. He tired to save as many Jews as he could, knowing that other Germans thought he was doing wrong.

I believe you should keep Schindler's List as part of the "Moments of Decision" because heroes need to be recognized too. I also believe you should show the movie because it shows that not only men and women were victims, but small children were victims also. For example, the part in the movie when the little girl was wearing the red jacket, I believe the director was trying to get you to focus on the fact that children were harmed too. Another reason I believe you should show the movie, its shows that not all Germans were cruel.

For example, the part in the movie where the girl wanted her parents to come to the factory and Oskar yelled at her. After he yelled at her, he brought her parents to the factory; I think that shows the kind side of Oskar.

Oskar was not the only hero, his wife helped out too. She cashed in all her belongs to buy food and medicine for the Jews. She even helped cook food for the Jews and made sure they got enough nutrients. Another reason you should show this movie, it shows how Jews were badly treated and how the camps they lived in were hell. Jews were treated horribly and I believe this movie would help everybody to realize how bad racism can be.

"I wish I could have saved more," (may not be a direct quote) one man can only do so much. I hope Oskar realized if not for him then thousands of Jews might be dead today. I wish more people would have realized by helping out a little, they too might have been able to save more Jews. Oskar was had a big part in World War II and I believe he deservers the recognition
