Research Question:

What is the purpose of higher education?

People who don't pursue a higher education statistically greater chance of unemployment

College graduates have the potential for greater annual and lifetime earnings, those financial benefits tend to increase overtime

High educated workforce supports a healthier economy

Personally I've decided to pursue a higher education for different reasons. In my family you are lucky to even finish high school. I feel like being as though we as people are already a statistic I'd rather be looked upon on a more positive way. I don't want to struggle in life how everyone around me are. Pursuing a higher education is beneficial although it is complicated right now but I am striving harder and determined to have a degree.

I was motivated to enroll in college thinking about my future and seeing people around me with just a diploma or no diploma struggle to find themselves and the next step to take in life. With furthering my education and eventually graduating I plan to have my own restaurant.

People who don't pursue a higher education, statistically have a greater chance of unemployment. The more education you possess the more confident you will become. As a college student or a graduate when looking for job, hiring positions will base opinions about you on your college education. I've learned from self experience within the past month that having Steven-Henager College on my resume must look impressive to employers because I've been on different interviews for different job opportunities. I think that employers will see someone who has some sort of high educationally values as a hardworking person.

Statistics show that college graduates are likely to make earn $73,125 per year vs. $40,625. The college graduate surpasses the lifetime earnings of the high school graduate by the age of 27.

A higher educated workforce supports the economy. Secondary education or training are expected to grow by 15,000 over the next decade while high school gradates and dropouts are expected to increase by 2,200. Higher education can help with economic stability and prosperity.

In conclusion I think that high education is necessary to pursue it helps financially. It also keeps you doing positive things like focusing on you career
