WUSHU's ORIGINS
Wushu is an ancient form of Chinese martial arts. Wushu Started off as just a warm up for military exercises and later became a military subject, for close combat battle. Wushu originated in ancient China around 2,500 years ago, which was around the time of the warring period between 770-221 BC Wushu was later on Developed by an Indian monk named Bodhidharma, who taught his meditation techniques to the wushu students. Wushu was originally called wuyi and later became a synonym to wushu.

WUSHU's HISTORY
Wushu is a time-honored sport in China, it traces back to the time of the clan commune in ancient societies. Around that time there appeared the sport Jiaodi (wrestling) and the Wu (dance and exercise) of Ganqi (axe and shield).
