Who may be removed through the impeachment process?

The President, The Vice President, And all Civil Officers

What are considered impeachable offenses?

Treason- the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign's family.

Bribery-money or favor given or promised in order to influence the judgment or conduct of a person in a position of trust, something that serves to induce or influence.

Other High crimes and Misdemeanors- mis-demeanors or bad behavior such as neglect of duty and corruption, great offenses.

What is the purpose of impeachment proceedings?

To conclude whether the allegations and the facts presented may constitute an impeachable offenses.

Do you think impeachment power should be limited to Congress? Should presidential impeachment be possible through a popular vote?

I believe that Congress should have the power to impeach.

We elect our senators and representatives to represent. They are our voice and to take the power of impeachment away from them defeats the purpose of have them.

What would you recommend as a replacement if Congress determined that impeachment must be replaced?

I would not change it but I had too... Well I would create The Removal of Power Court.

A Supreme Court Justice will be the judge over the proceedings. A mix of randomly selected Representatives and Senators will be the Jury. This will be the process if the President or for any one from the Executive branch. For the Judicial branch will be held in the same set up except the Vice President will be the Judge over the proceedings and Jury will be the same as the process for the Executive branch.
