Since September 11, 2001 the financial service industry of Intersect Investment has worked diligently to keep their necks above water. Although many other financial companies share Intersect Investments identical hard ships; to recover a solution to their dilemmas conducting a benchmarking research will be essential. This week, our learning team has conducted 5 different benchmarking analyses from 5 different industries. These industries have unsuccessfully or successfully navigated through similar situations. Alternative solutions for Intersect Investment will be provided following our teams analysis material.

Implications of Different Leadership Styles (342 words)

Employees who are happy at work with their current jobs tend to be more motivated and organizationally committed and will make helping the company, to reach their goal their number one priority.

Intersect employees were far from satisfied, which is one of the main reasons the company experienced a high rate of employee turnover. Leadership is defined as "a social influence process in which the leader seeks the voluntary participation of subordinates in an effort to reach organizational (Kreitner,2004, p. 10).

There are many different types of leadership styles ranging from charismatic to task- oriented leadership. These leadership styles have specific traits or behaviors that have been identified and related to the specific styles.

Charismatic and transformational leadership styles are very similar to each other, but there are differences. In both of these styles, the leader injects huge doses of enthusiasm into his or her team, and is very energetic in driving others forward.
