The Genetic cause of the Mutation

There isn't yet a definite genetic cause of mutation on AIDS or HIV because none of the scientists agree with it. But some think that when the HIV virus enters to the blood cells, it attacks the CD4 (kind of cell in our bodies). It kills the CD4 and also it can multiple the amount of the virus and attack the T4 cells. When the T4 cells are contaminated they, reproduce less cells making our bodies less possible in fighting against other sicknesses, which are signs of symptoms. In many cases, when the HIV comes into our bodies, it wont react until several years have passed, therefore it means that it takes a while to find out that we have the disease. (Holm pg 4-5)
