STUDENTS: Woodford looked at his class list the other day and realized he needs some journalism students next year. If you would like a senior English credit and maybe an occupational ed. credit, go see Woodford in room 108. All students, freshman through senior, are welcome.

Students interested in visiting with college reps from colleges around the United States are invited to the Spring College Fairs this Sunday, March 17, at Seattle University or Monday, March 18, at University of Portland. See the Counseling bulletin Board for more information.

Kyle Saltz placed 1st in Greco-Roman wrestling Friday night and then placed 2nd in Freestyle wrestling Saturday.

A representative of the U.S. Navy will be available Thursday at lunch to talk with students about career opportunities in the Navy.

If you are considering the Running Start program, you must take the ASSET test at CBC on March 15. Pick up an information sheet in the counseling office.

Cheerleaders: Remember to have all uniform items cleaned and turned in to Miss Terri by next Monday, the 18th. They also need to be in a bag with your name on it.

Juniors, don't forget to turn in a permission form to attend the College Conference for juniors at CBC on March 21. Get a head start on choosing a college. Representatives from 2 & 4 year schools in Washington will make the presentations.

Junior women interested in science, math, engineering and computer science careers: See Mrs. Hindman in the career center if you'd like to apply for a summer internship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland. There are some specific course requirements and a deadline coming soon.

Students who want to attend Tri-Tech next fall must fill out an application and return it to the Counseling Office. Students who are now attending Tri-Tech and are going to attend next fall need to fill out an application also. Deadline for applications to be returned to the Counseling Office in March 18.

Sophomores interested in IB: If you are taking just one IB class next year or all six IB classes, you must fill out an application. Your completed application to the IB program is due March 14. You may pick up a copy of the application from Mrs. Morris. Completed applications can be turned in to Mrs. Morris any time before March 14.
