John Hammond is opening a park, kind of like a zoo. There will be rides, games, tennis courts,--and dinosaurs. However the dinos just aren't acting the way they are supposed to, and the investors are getting nervous. So some experts are called in for a fun weekend in the prehistoric era.

Dinosaur expert Dr. Alan Grant and his assistant, paleontologist Dr. Ellie Sattler are among the group of experts, along with mathematician Ian Malcolm. Hammond also invites along his two grandchildren, Lex and Tim, to try and lessen the meaning of this trip.

But something goes wrong. In fact, everything goes wrong as Hammond is betrayed by one of his disgruntled workers. Soon, the electrified fences are down, the dinosaurs are free, and all hell is breaking loose.
