Effective communication will benefit the supervisor as well as the staff. Communication is an important interpersonal skill a supervisor can draw on to build a solid and cooperative work environment.

Good communication practices motivate and build loyalty, and influence among colleagues. Communication in real time is important when trying to keep up-to-date , foster team work, and avoid or resolve conflicts.

To keep all employees up-to-date on the company progress as well as their own personal triumphs. I recommend using an online desk top page that is up dated daily and even as the day moves on. The employees can submit sales or other pertinent information, and it can be instantly submitted to the supervisor. The supervisor can verify and submit the information to be published on the site. The web site bulletin board as well as personal private message areas should also be available. This will aid in effective communication.
