IntroductionA significant factor of a company's web-site is how well it implements the tools of marketing. Some fundamental elements taking into consideration as it relates to the development of the web page include(s); good research of the target audience, an assessment of the organization's needs to include training and education of employees, ensuring an appropriate level multimedia and programming, site development to reflect the character and reputation of the organization, and most important, ensuring the site is hosted on a dependable high speed connection and uses a reliable backup system/server. The use of shopping cart simplification (if needed), banners, and continuous adjustment to consumer desires for specific services or products are all important web-site marketing tools that a successful organization considers as it relates to developing and maintaining a web-site. In this paper, Team D will discuss the use of marketing tools for Pratt and Whitney, Harley-Davidson, and Pine Grove Homes and will evaluate the customer service of each site.

Marketing Tools for Pratt and WhitneyTaking the right approach in transforming a print brand to the web takes building and rebuilding relationships with current and future customers. Pratt and Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, industrial gas turbines and space propulsion systems (Pratt, 2009). PW has a long reputation with customers' worldwide, but this is not enough, the world of e-business is more largely affected by the interactive experience provided to web page users (Hirsch, 1999).
