Max Weber believed that the only way in which social scientists can understand a persons actions is to understand their culture and their shared belief system. I completely agree with what he believed. We cannot completely understand a person until we know what their background is, where they come from, and what they believe. Those are all intimate things to a human being and that is something that most people hold close to their hearts. It is what defines them as a person. I know for myself, my beliefs and the way I was raised is what makes me who I am today, and I am very thankful to have that as the root of who I am. My actions are based on what I believe is right. For instance, I was always raised to believe that you should never do any form of drug and until this day I have and will never do anything like that.

That is what I believe to be right. Humans act on what they believe and what they have been taught to do. Every culture is different from another, but that is what makes us unique.

If a social scientist were to observe a persons actions they would know that how people live their lives is based on the way they were raised. A shared belief system is what brings people together as a culture. If we did not have people that shared the same beliefs as a culture than we would have a lot of different people that believed different things. Every religion has something different, although some may be similar, that they believe. Beliefs are like morals that people try to live their lives by and without morals we would not know how to act. You have to have some sort...
