MRI scanner can produce clear images of the diseased tissues of spine, the bony structure of the spinal cord and the space between the discs of spinal cord (Woodward, 2000). The reason behind the use of MRI scanning is that it effectively provides ailment to the elder people suffering from back pain by visualizing the abnormal segment of the spine (Conrad, 2008).
