In today's world we have many religions, but throughout civilization there have been three main religions. Most Americans are familiar with only Christianity and Judaism. But there is a third major religion that seems an ocean away. This religion is known as Islamic. What the majority of Americans fail to realize is that according to A1realisim.com, one out of every four people in the world is a Muslim, meaning that they are followers of Islam. In the past fifty years the Muslim population has grown 235%. These are astounding numbers. One sad thing though is that when most Americans do think about the Muslim religion they see images of recent evens that have been linked directly to Muslim terrorists such as Osama Bin-ladin, and people of that nature. These people are truly not followers of their own religion. In actuality the Islamic religion is based on peace and love for ones' brother.
