Introduction

Oprah Winfrey is one of the most recognized media personalities in the United States. She is a successful talk show host and the first self made billionaire of African American origin in the history of the United States. He career started as a news broadcaster and then she moved on into entertainment where she has had a successful career as a talk show host. She has also had many accomplishments as a film actress. Her talk show on self improvement has been one of the most successful talk show in the United States attracting millions of viewers around the world. The talk show has been very influential in changing the lives of millions of people around the world.

Oprah Winfrey has also been a successful philanthropist donation her money to many charities across the globe. One of the most notable projects is the building of an all girls school in south Africa to inspire many young people to strive to achieve a better life with her own personal assistance. Despite her challenging upbringing Oprah Winfrey has been an inspiring role model to many people around the world with the level of success that she has achieved.

To attain her success Oprah had to go through many challenges starting from when she was a small child. Oprah was born in 1954 on January the 29th to unmarried teenage parents.
