IntroductionIn this paper, I will discuss several key concepts and terminologies on Organizational Behavior, Organizational Culture, Diversity, Communication, Business Ethics, and Change Management. I will also give an example or two of how these key concepts and terminologies related to my experience with my former employer, Oxford Health Plan.

Organizational BehaviorOrganizational behavior is "The study of many factors that have an impact on how people and groups act, think, feel, and respond to work and organizations and how organizations respond to their environments."(George, Jones, 2005, p4) It is very important for managers in an organization to understand that a workers emotional state will show itself in the increase or decrease of productivity. In my former place of employment, management was very interested in how we felt and what our thoughts were when it came to the job. They would have us fill out surveys on occasion about the workplace.

At the end of the survey, there was always a space for us to write any ideas we may have had, for the organization to use in order for them to improve the office. We had a pleasant working atmosphere and coworkers were friendly toward one another. Everyone was content with the job. The organization I worked for must have realized the importance of organizational behavior and decided to make sure everyone was satisfied.

Organizational CultureOrganizational culture is, "The set of shared values, beliefs, and norms that influence the way employees think, and behave towards each other and towards people outside of their organization.(George, Jones, 2005, p535) At Oxford Health Plan, our organizational culture was a friendly culture.
