Personal Goals of a University of Phoenix Student

The demands placed on today's work environments, drive companies to call upon professionals with the right credentials to get the job done. What determines having the right stuff is based on the knowledge, experience and skills an individual can contribute. The means by which an individual can give some insight on their professional knowledge, experience and skills is often best displayed by having a graduate degree. To be among those professionals with the right stuff, I have made it my personal goals to become a University of Phoenix student entered into a business management program to achieve an accredited degree where the knowledge and skills gained can be applied towards new and better career opportunities.

As is with all goals related to achieving a graduate degree, the first steps require that the person be enrolled into an accredited school with the right type of degree program. The University of Phoenix with its unique teaching methods and learning environments catering to the adult learner made it the best choice to enroll with.

This is evident in the schools mission that states "The mission of University of Phoenix is to educate working adults to develop the knowledge and skills that will enable them to achieve their professional goals, improve the productivity of their organizations, and provide leadership and service to their communities." (University of Phoenix: Fact Book). By enrolling into an accredited school like the University of Phoenix, I can go forth with undertaking courses that will help build my knowledge and skills. And what better way is there to improving ones knowledge and skills then by pursuing studies in business management.
