There are many aspects to search for information about Britain such as physical geography, people, social, culture. It creases a desire to explore deeply and acquire a wide knowledge. Especially, religion and domestic politics and international relations are terms which have more interesting.

Firstly, we would like to intrduce some points about UK religion.

People often refer to call Britain by another name. They call it "England". But this is not correct and it can make some people angry. England is only one of the four nations of the British Isles (England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland).

As you know, Christians constitute about 59% of the population and it is the main religion in Britain, but Britain is a multi-faith society and all other religions, including; Buddhists, Hindu, Muslims, Sikh and Jewish are freely practiced. And there are some people follow no particular religion.

We would like to introduce the official religion in Britain is Christianity. Christains made up the largest religious group cover 33 million people or 59% of the population. Most Christains belong to the Churches of England or the Church of Scotland. And Churches of England is the state religion in England. It is also the Mother Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion. In Scotland, the Church of Scotland is established in a separate Scottish Reformation in the sixteenth century, is recognised as the national church and It is not subject to state control. Besides that, Britain used to be a Roman Catholic country...
