A. It practice by women; it provides women the opportunity and the environment to maximize family and career goals without all the tradeoffs and compromising that are associated with a monogamist relationship.

B. Women are able to think of polygamy in the terms of a free-market approach to marriage. Many believe they should have the opportunity to marry the best man available, regardless of his marital status. The fact that he already had five wives did not prevent them from chasing that individual.

C. Polygamy is not for everyone. 1. However, for some it is God's calling and God's special blessing.

They base this on a Biblical principles. They lived in obedience to God's will, as any marriage must be.

2.The church does not support this practice! Polygamists do not have a need for divorce. If they want to start a new marriage, that is fine, but they will not destroy an existing marriage and family to do it. 3. It's illegal but can be practiced without breaking the law simply by registering only one of the marriages with the State.

D. Polygamy is distasteful to most Americans. 1. It is common, normal and accepted by many different groups, mainly in the Western States.

2. Utah has the most cases and "Tom Green" who is in most of the headlines today for this practice.

IV. Conclusion: Polygamy mainly practice in the western state such as Utah and women tend to agree with the lifestyle. Women like the fact that participating...
