Many people get portrayed by the media. The one good example is Governor Sarah Palin, whose life is questioned by the media. Media scandal over her pregnant daughter is destroying her image as the first female Republican nominee.

Sarah Palin small town mayor announced that her 17 old daughter, Bristol, is pregnant and getting married. Since that day her private and public life has become spotlight to the world. Media is asking questions what else Ms. Palin is hiding. Palin is married and has 5 children. Her youngest was born with down syndrome. She is an anti abortion and abstinence supporter but couldn't prevent that from happening in her family. With this scandal people are questioning her ability to handle big family and vice presidency. Just because she is a woman her abilities are being questioned. John McCain campaign has asked media to stop inquiring about Palin, they called this "faux media scandal designed to destroy the first female Republican."

(Bookman, 2008) Palin is getting ctiziced for allowing her daughter to become pregnant and keep the baby. Anti-abortion groups and conservatives have praised her and her daughter's decisions to keep their babies. The family founder James Dobson said "We have always encouraged the parents to love and support their children and always advised the girls to see their pregnancies through, even though there will of course be challenges along the way. That is what the Palins are doing, and they should be commended once again for not just talking about their pro-life and pro-family values, but living them out even in the midst of trying circumstances."
