Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country in south-east Europe with an estimated population of around four million people. The country is the homeland of its three ethnic constituent peoples: Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats. A citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, regardless of ethnicity, is usually identified as a Bosnian. (Bosnia Travel, n.d.). There are many different activities to do or places to see while visiting the country. There are two main National parks; Sutjeska Nationl Park , founded in 1965, covers area of 173 km2 and Kozara National Park, founded in 1967, covers area of 34 km2. Both parks offer amenities such as hiking, as well as holes and restaurants in the national park complex.( Bosnia Travel, n.d.). With the numerous activities available, different hotels and foods to be sampled, someone traveling into Bosnia should consider the different cultural and ethnic groups within the country.

Because of the strong discrimination cultural and ethnicity differences in Bosnia, an individual traveling to the country would want to do some thorough research before committing to the trip.

Someone traveling to Bosnia would want to seek out someone that has had interaction with the people and culture, and hear the different experiences they had first hand. They should study the various cultures in the country, and have a clear definition of race and ethnicity and understand the distinctions between the two. An individual would want to understand how discrimination has affected the lives of the people in the country and how to interact with the people appropriately. A person should thoroughly research the written works and consider the different customs that they would experience before committing to traveling there.
