Kuala Lumpur, 30 May, 2004 - Business students will now have an opportunity to further their studies in US, as MACEE are giving out scholarships to students who are eligible.

Founded in 1963, the MACEE is a binational commission for Malaysia and the US to promote educational exchange. As it MACEE 40th anniversary, they are announcing their 2003 undergraduate business scholarships recipients. MACEE mission is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business.

MACEE's CEO Dr Yap said that they are encouraging Business students to study abroad as well as to give financial aid to students whop are eligible.

Dr Yap said 'we know that there are many excellent students out there who wanted to futher their studies abroad but they are in financial difficulties. That is why MACEE is giving out scholarships to students who are eligible.

MACEE has awarded scholarships of more than USD700000 to Malaysian students studying business.

A total of 10 students will received USD5000 scholarships to continue their studies in business administration in 2004/2005.

Next year MACEE scholarships is now open. All applicants must be in (1st year local University undergraduate business students) and also be ranked in the top 10 percent of their class (with cpga of 3.8 and above). Besides that, all applicants will also have to write an essay of their choice (3000 words). Only short listed applicants will be interviewed.
