This analysis will present the problems that InterClean, Inc. hereinafter referred to as InterClean, faced before and after implementing their approach. InterClean is an $8 billion dollar institutional and industrial cleaning and sanitation company that aspires to expand their business into the service industry. To fulfill this goal, they are in the process of acquiring EnviroTech, Inc., a leading competitor with the experience and knowledge of the business model InterClean wants to follow. Three years earlier, InterClean was prospering as a market leader in the industry but due to the financial crisis of ever increasing competition, InterClean's senior leadership has aggressively developed a plan for restructuring to revitalize the company. In this analysis, the issues and opportunities confronting InterClean will be addressed, followed by the company's end state vision and detailed gap analysis for InterClean from a business perspective, to include where they are currently and where the company will likely be after the solution has been implemented.

Also discussed are the stakeholders and their ethical values, and the problems and goals of the organization. This paper analyzes some possible alternative solutions, and provide an optimal solution along with the risks associated with them. To reach the effectiveness of the organization, a problem-solving approach will be used for HR to implement and develop a comprehensive staffing strategy, allowing InterClean to continue to be a market leader through a solution-based selling strategy.
