2 Basic Instincts: Sex & Aggression
Sex:
A. Howard Stern prefers to masturbate more than having sex. This is because he feels he is not well endowed. During his teen years, he attended a primarily African America High School. Gym class for Howard was completely traumatizing. He always felt that his peers had bigger penis's than he did so he never felt adequate enough to show other others, like woman. This is one reason Howard prefers to masturbate instead of engaging in sexual activities.
B. When it comes to sex in general, Howard is only interested in his own self gratification. Therefore he finds that lesbians allow him to only pleasure himself with no obligation to reciprocate.
Aggression:
A. As a young adult Howard was bullied through-out High school. He also was verbally abused by his father Ben at an early age. This caused Howard to snap and become angry and defensive when anyone would disagree with him.

ID, EGO & SUPER EGO
The structure of the personality in psychoanalytic theory is threefold. Freud divided it into the id, the ego, and the superego. Only the ego was visible or on the surface, while the id and the superego remain below, but each has its own effects on the personality, nonetheless.
ID: The id represents biological forces. It is also a constant in the personality as it is always present. The id is governed by the "pleasure principle", or the notion of hedonism (the seeking of pleasure).
Ego: A defense mechanism that is partly conscious and contains the capacities...
