Public speaking.

When I was thinking about what I was going to write for this paper I had no idea. I was pondering about what in Comm. 110 has affected my life? Then the next day I sat down to write my paper and I didn't have to think but about two seconds and I realized what I wanted to write about. I opened my book to a random page and said what ever page it is on that is what I am going to write about. Well it happened to be Unit 15 on Public Speaking, Audiences and Research. It must have been fate.

Public speaking in my definition is hard as hell to master for me. Public speaking has always been a big problem with me. I have no problem speaking with people I know or speaking with strangers sometimes. But when it comes to getting up in front of a group of people and speaking about something, it's hard as hell.

During my experience in Comm. 110 I have had the pleasure of being able to present a speech on whatever topic that interested me. Part of public speaking is doing research. For me this was the hardest part. I have a lot of things that I am interested in and that I am concerned about. So after a long time of thinking and last minute researching I finally decided on Drunk Driving. Writing the presentation and doing the research was not that tough. Although I searched many websites looking for specific sites, and even had to think back to some not so fond memories in my life I ended up doing pretty well. The research for this particular topic that I had to do was not that bad. Research is a major part in public speaking.
