Write about a Film which has played an important part in your life

"Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When people can't do something themselves they're gonna tell you that you can't do it. You want something, go get it". This was narrated by Will Smith in the 2006 movie, Pursuit of Happyness. Summer 2014, searching for a film to watch over Netflix. I came across Pursuit of Happyness. To be honest why I decided to click on this film was only because I had noticed legend Will Smith, actor, producer and rapper, on the cover of the film. I'm glad that out of all the action and mafia films that I could have picked I selected this one. A film based on a true story about a struggling salesman (Will Smith) also a single father who is battling to make ends meet.

Exploring the themes of hardship, hard work, happiness and success, this is exactly what I needed before sitting my GCSE's and it has played an important part in my life.

One of the themes that stood up to me from the movie is parenting and appreciation. The Difficulties Chris Gardner had to go through to earn enough money to pay off the rent, provide food for his son in addition to all that he had to send his son off to day care. In one scene Chris Gardner and his son had to sleep in a public men's room because they got evicted. The Pursuit of Happyness made me relies how much my parents have done for me for the past fifth teen years of my life. It also made me appreciate how hard my dad has been working to put food...
