Berkley and Descartes were both philosophers with reality on their mind. I thought I would give it a try. So what is reality? The answer does not exist. Many people think about reality if not devote their lives to finding out it is. Even pondering pondering reality could drive you insane in its self but the more I talk the further from reality I get.
So let me start. I do not know what reality is but how am I to figure this out when I am a child and people who do devote their entire lives to reality did not figure it out.
Reality is the state of being actual or true. Well I now know what reality is but what is actual and what is true? True is consistent with fact or reality; not false or erroneous. That just links us back to reality. But some things are lies, and reality doesn't tell you what is a lie and what is true.
