INTRODUCTION:

The Redlands Municipal Airport located in USA in San Bernardino county, California city about sixty miles east of Losangeles, four miles northeast of downtown Redlands and three miles north of Interstate .

The history of Airport can be divided in to period of time from 1945 to 1962 the Airport was privately held, and from 1962 to present as has been owned by the city of Redlands.

The Airport is serves single and small twin engine general aviation aircraft weighing less than 12,500 pounds. The Airport has sixteen housing organization. These Fixed base Operation (FBO) a variety of services fuel services, maintenance, flight training.

THE AIRPORT INTERNAL STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Points of Strengths:

Redlands Municipal Airport place is mountains place it suitable for training on mountain flying, landing on unimproved airstrips on the sides of mountain, and training on other unique geographical circumstances in the area.

There are a number of Fixed Base Operators at the airport offering a variety of services that include fuel, flight training, repair and maintenance, hanger and tie-down rental, airplane rental, and related services.

Points of Weaknesses:

The Airport has no cafe or restaurant; the visitors can sit outside in shade at picnic tables.

It does not have board of directors to develop and creating new businesses or project in the Airport.

The city of Redlands has never made a serious marketing effort unlike the other local Airport to attract customers and improve the Airport.

As selling fuel service and providing clients, the Airport did not succeed in establishing medical air transport.
