Cameryn Radburnd,

While Darwin's theory of evolution was relatively young archetype, the revolutionary worldview itself is as old as antiquity. Ancient Greek philosophers postulated the development of life from non-life and the evolutionary descendant of man from animal. Charles Darwin had simply just brought something new to the old philosophy a mechanism that is known as the "natural selection".

I believe that Charles Darwin's theory was very much correct as everyone is genetically different and all human life accumulates minor advantageous of genetic mutations. For e.g. a species had developed a functional advantage (grew wings and learnt how to fly). There off springs would have inherited there same genetic advantage and pass it of to their offspring. Although according to Darwin's theory there always seems to be inferior (disadvantaged) members of the same species that would eventually die of, leaving the superior members of the species remaining.

In a Nutshell, Darwin's theory of Natural selection is the preservation of functional advantage that enables a species to compete better in the wild.

Australia had a distinctive and unique flora non-like any other land mass. The evolution of its plants was the result of Australia's long isolation from other continents. In 1994, the Wollemi pine was found in a remote valley in the blue mountains of New South Wales. It was believed to be part of an extinct group of trees called the Auracariaceae that existed during the time of the dinosaurs. Making it a species that has been around for 65 million years. Another evidence of evolution in Australia's flora is the empacris impressa. This plant shows a remarkable variation in the colour of the flowers, from pure white to deep red. The variation of these are so great that...
