Summary
According to the article, the estimated pace of job growth has been increased while wage growth since 1979 hit its lowest point. That's caused by the lack of policies to ensure prosperity of workers. Therefore, from the facts showing we don't have enough groundwork to protect our workers, Obama's policy to raise the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $10 would have great effect for low - income workers. Furthermore, living standards of middle -wage workers has been also decreased because of privatization that doesn't help to save money or improve services. A real solution to change this situation is a full - employment agenda that considers employees as the core of economy.

I highly agree with the author of article. When we call developed country, in general, it implies that the country has improved working environment of workers and can guarantee the quality of people's life. As one of the most developed countries in the world, Can USA say that they have earned the definition of developed country in terms of working environment and quality of life? In my opinion, the answer is "no". Compared to the other developed country especially EU, the working hours is too long and vacation with pay is too short as well. Moreover, many recent researches proved managing employees in EU's way which gives them more free increased efficiency of labor and improved their quality of life as well.
