The United States Government is composed of two main branches, which are the Senate and the House. Each one of them represents our government in different ways. The Senate is an assembly or a council of citizens having the highest deliberative and legislative functions in a government; while the House is a legislative or deliberative assembly. They are a two house legislature, and its mainly done for tradition. Even though they are the main powers of our administration they have different functions and rules. The United States government also has Bicameral Legislation, composed of or based on two legislative chambers or branches, the senate and The House.

The senate is the upper house of the U.S. Congress, to which two members is elected from each state by popular vote for a six-year term. Often the Senate is the upper house in the bicameral legislature of many states in the United States.

The senate was therefore the intermediate through which all affairs of the whole government had to pass. Is got a smaller body of members, 100 nearly, its more prestigious too because old its older membership and has a higher visibility in news and media. Filibuster is a technique used by the Senate. Is the process of" taking a bill to death". Is the use of moderate tactics, especially prolonged speechmaking to postpone a legislative action. It's a tactic for delaying or stopping legislation by making long speeches against a bill that is about to be passed.

The house is the lower legislative house of the United States. Is got a larger number of members to be more specific 435, but is just for 2 years. The constituents are elected from districts within the States. Furthermore, because is a younger membership and its got a lower visibility in news...
