English Essay "How did the events on 9/11/01 change your life/life view?" September 11th, 2001, a day I will remember for the rest of my life.

911, a day that will forever live in infamy. Airplanes are hijacked, the twin towers of the World Trade Center collapse, and a giant hole remains in the wall of the Pentagon. The United States of America is under attack. Could all of this be reality? As an American of this fine nation, I am deeply saddened and furious by these despicable acts of violence towards our country. I woke up early Tuesday morning to find out the disappointing and tragic news. I watched all of the late breaking coverage in NYC, Washington and Pennsylvania on the television. After comprehending all of the information that was relayed, I truly couldn't believe that this huge act of terrorism was happening on United States soil.

I kept on thinking"¦ "How could this happen here, and why?" Throughout the day, it was very sad to know that thousands of innocent people lost their lives in such a short amount of time, and for what reason? Just because of another's anger and hate towards America's ideals? It just makes me sick to my stomach of how any human being in their right mind could commit such a disgusting act of terrorism.

The recent events have definitely changed my life. When an event like this strikes, it affects the whole nation. Countless activities in the United States were either cancelled or postponed. All sports were put on hold, airports were closed, Wall Street was shut down, and many of the networks on television discontinued their regular programming. To tell you the truth, it messed up a lot of schedules for many Americans. Everyone in the United States...
