Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are again looking for a new home after encountering more terrible experiences at their previous guardian's home. They're sick and tired from moving place to place and can't stop wondering if the same thing will happen this time. They wish that their parents were still alive and that the horrible day had never happened. After the events in this book, the Baudelaire children are really going to want their parents back.

This is what the Baudelaire orphans are going through in A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Miserable Mill by Lemony Snicket. The fourth book of the series is one that is exciting and filled with entertaining material in its pages. The Baudelaires new guardian is called the Boss. Right when they arrive at Lucky Smell's Lumbermill, the Boss puts them to work in the mill.

The working hours aren't generous, either. Everyone has to wake up very early and only leave when the sun goes down. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny don't care very much for their new parent and never get to know him that well throughout the book, partly because he always smokes cigars and his face is covered in smoke. Anyways, who would want to know their parent if they made them do hard labor in a lumbermill all day!

As with the other books in this series, the Baudelaires face many difficult and unfortunate events. This chapter of the Baudelaire's lives is no exception. To find out all the stuff that happens to them in The Miserable Mill, buy this book and also check out the other installments in the series.
