In the story of Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, is Gertrude really the murder of her husband King Hamlet? There is no real answer to this question simply because is not a true story and it doesn't really ever tell you if Claudius was really the murder or not. However, if this were to be a true story, then I would suspect Gertrude of taking a part in her husband's murder.

I believe that Gertrude did take a part in her husband's murder. I believe that she that she did commit adultery with Claudius. And if she did commit adultery with Claudius, then she probably didn't want anyone to find out that she did. So, her and Claudius must of came up with a plan to get rid of King Hamlet. Gertrude wanted to get rid of him because she wanted Claudius and he wanted to rule, so it worked out for both of them.

We liked the Mel Gibson version better. The scenery was more real and I liked it without Fortinbras because it has a better moral to the story, not to get revenge at all. They didn't show the death of Osrics in the Mel Gibson version. The killing scene was more realistic. The Mel Gibson movie the poison was more violent which made it more real. The death scene of Claudius was better in the Mel Gibson version. The deaths of Gertrude and Hamlet were basically the same in both versions. The death of Laretes was better in the Mel Gibson version because there was less running around and he didn't' fall off the balcony which was unrealistic.
