The city of Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the nation's premier vacation resorts. It is also an area where population is dramatically on the rise. Nevada is one of the most business friendly states in the country, which provides great opportunities for businesses to market and sell. An average of 1.5 Million square feet of office space becomes available for use in the Las Vegas area every year. Tourism is continually growing every year and it is hard to find a business that does not succeed in the area. Selling a product in a city that has so much to offer should not be hard. However, there is great competition and high expectations that need to be met in order to succeed as a business. The number one business of course is gaming, which is gambling. Another business that is high on the list is hotels and resorts.

The industry I will be focusing on is the sports business. In Las Vegas there are many places or facilities that deal with sport and will create competition with my business. Not only does Las Vegas offer professional sports such as venues for the PGA, pro boxing, and Nascar, they also offer facilities both outdoor and indoor for residents and tourists to use. The following business plan is a plan for the Smith's Indoor Sport Facility that will be located in the Las Vegas residential area away from the heart of downtown.
