Truman was born in Lamar Missouri in 1884. In 1901 his future was still uncertain after he graduated from high school, since his family's financial situation didn't allowed to afford college he was appointed to the U.S Military Academy at WestPoint but was eliminated because of his poor eyesight. For the next ten years he was a very successful farmer. Right before the United States entered the World War I Truman entered U.S Army but came back to Missouri he was elected first lieutenant by the men of Missouri.

After that Truman became a presiding judge after a long battle he defeated republican opponent.

On January 3, 1935, he was sworn in as the junior senator from Missouri, he also became the senator of the United States. After that Truman was elected as vice president and during his few weeks as vice president he saw president Roosevelt and received all the information concerning the atomic bomb and also al the difficulties.

Suddenly all those problems became his to solve, when he became president on April 12, 1945, he also told the reporters "I felt like the moon, the stars, and all the planets had fallen on me " because he wasn't prepared enough or didn't think he was to be a president and solve all these problems that the United States were having.

As president Truman made some of the most critical decisions in history, as deciding to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima , according to the U.S estimates about 60,000to 70,000 people were killed or missing as a result of the impact of the bomb and on Nagasaki about one third of the city was destroyed and according to the U.S estimates about 40,000 people were killed or injured.
