Well to be honest i thought it would be a '''dead''' essay but suprisingly to me i liked it and thought it was good. i liked the bit '...Imagine that instead of confirming the existence of a god, the Pledge specifically denied...' because it P.E.E's theres a point which is made clearly then the author of this poem explains it and give evidence to prove the point made.I also like the way you have ended this essay and i totally agree with what u have put there about it not completly removing it as this is true and i believe it.
