  you could use more examples os stars in commercials, more famous ones. you've just mentioned Pepsi, for example, and you could have used their politics in promoting their products by using great stars such as Britney Spears, Beckham, Enrique Iglesias and so on. L'Oreal is also a god example.

  yes, it's a good start. the next step would be that of showing the essay to the close ones who are to you now what you have been to your friend. Got the idea? identifying yourself with a character in a book, as real as it might be, is not enough. telling us about it is not enough.
