Very fun to read. However, I don't agree with your conclusion. How says that perfection is the ultimate goal? What is perfection? If something is perfect does that mean that no further improvement is necessary? What about evolution?

I enjoyed reading your work! You did a good job putting all the facts together. You forgot to mention that Euler produced almost half of his work during his last seventeen years of life - when he was blind. His name is spelled like "oiler" by the way.

When I was standing in a Lindt Chocolate store one of the sales persons said to her client "European chocolate is superior to American chocolate."I fully agreed! I am from Europe and chocolate is simply better there - even the cheap brands! Also, you have to consider the culture of each country more detailed. France and Belgium both indulge their taste buds. Food is culture and it plays a big role in their lifes. Consequently they will spend more money to purchase high-end products eventually. On the other hand Germans do have a food culture as well but their spendings are in different sectors.A little more depth in your work would probably have given you a better grade.Or what did your teacher comment on your writting?

Interesting work - since I am not pro Bush as well. ;-)Bush did not only spent the surplus, he drove the US into the biggest deficit EVER!Moreover, making countries look bad just because they didn't suit his will - what kind of policy is this?Isn't he supposed to be a leader? Why does he force others to their "best"?Where is his vision? Where is his charisma?

I am assuming this is a rough draft? The organization of this essay is not at the optimum. The transitions from one paragraph to another are mostly non-existent.This rough draft has very good potential to become an excellent essay!

  • America vs. Germany

Dear Cynthia, you could have taken this essay one step further. It is not only the history teachers' and books' fault that students are patriotic and tend to be ignorant. It is a continuous circle within the generations.I am German and guess what I learned in my history class? Quite the opposite. Imagine the situation you described in a different country, e.g. Germany. Which thoughts come to your mind first? Nazi - right!?I am very resentful about the fact that Germans are still ashamed of their country and aren't as patriotic as they should be. Come on - Germany is great!
