  • P2P is good or bad?

    I thought that this was a good article on P2P piracy. It spent more time discussing P2P as it is used for sharing copyrighted products but did not deal with the corporate uses such as distributed computing. I thought that the history of P2P would have included some information on the technology that made it possible.

  • The Internet is just another resource

    Most of us use the Internet to find something, share something, or get to something. If you don't go looking for it, you probably won't find it. If you don't respond to that email with the subject "Hot Young Girls" then you probably won't get those sites into your Internet browser cache and you probably will never get the spam or popups that everyone talks about. If you do a search and you get a hit that says "Naked celebrities", don't click on it unless that was what you were looking for. If you don't look for it, you probably won't find it.In response to manginaboy: If you were looking for dinosaurs, how did you get a respose email advertising "FREE SEX"? And why did you click on it? That is like trying to blame a speeding ticket on the kind of gas that we use!
