You raise valid points in this essay but girls won't become anorexic only because of the Hollywood image. If they are perfectionists or feel they need to do something that they control can also lead to this mental disease.While I recgonize that this disease can effect anyone you should maybe mention that its highly common to find in dancers, gymnast's and skaters lives.I have had friends with anorexia and I found from my perspective your story like passion and sympathy so you should maybe include a story or example so people feel more empathetic.And one last thing (I promise) is that you should be careful about saying how this disease won't stop until a treatment is found because this disease is not preventable in the slightest. As well there is hardly any treatment out there besides reteaching the person to love themselves again. This would be because its a mental disease and is nearly as curable as someone who is crazy.
