I liked the statements of both sides. Argument and Counter. It gave me a better understanding of what people think.

I totally agree with your assertion. If someone is in terrible pain and sane enough to wish their own death, what decision is it of ours to make them suffer more. Its the same as watching an innocent man be totured and thinking that turning your back to it will solve the problem.

if someone has suffered enough to want to die to begin with, why would you want to keep them alive to suffer more? how unbarbaric and humane do you consider that to be? euthanasia is enacted when you feel the pain youve been living through makes life not worth living, so if you are hurt enough to not want to live, who are you to demand that they survive through a pointless existence?
