Only two sides?
I like the structure of this essay, but insisting that you have to choose between two alternatives. This is a false dilema (either/or thinking) and shows it does not have other choices. A dilema is a choice between two alternatives, both of which are (usually) unpleasant. Having only two alternatives is what makes the dilema false. Most people think that you always have more than two choices.
