Well substantiated argument
While your arguement that a Killer should be punished by being killed sounds convincing and is very applicable in a lot of cases, however, a lot of crimes which "deserve" such punishment are not commited by cold-blooded criminals but many a times they are commited in the fit of rage, or some other reason which the criminal might repent after the crime has been commited. In such cases, Would it not be more appropriate to look into the factors that lead to the crime being commited than just the crime itself...However, very well-written Argument. As an after-thought, Dont you think Capital punishment, which causes a lot of resentment in people (Even in the ones who have a remote or no possibility of commiting any such crimes), could be replaced with a equally difficult punishment like "Solitary Confinement" for life with no possibility of Parole. I know thats expensive!! But its just a thought!!!- 31/05/2006
