Is seems this 10th grader has peered well into the two movies and created and nifty piece of writing while comparing the two. Nicely done!

This biography is a well-crafted piece. Though the spacing makes reading it difficult, there seem to be logical breaks as the chronology of Thomas Jefferson's life unfolds. Though brief, it is thorough. A good submission!

The beginning of this essay is ambiguous, hard to tell where the writer is headed. We continue to bounce around between an author bio or a book report/review. A more concise thesis would pull the reader in and help him/her understand the direction of the paper. It is clear that the book was read with good comprehension of the plot and themes. It just meaners a bit too much for me.

Some misspellings, a sentence fault, and quite a bit of repetition make this essay (for an 11th grader) a bit low. However, nice form in the introduction adn conclusion with the three examples clearly defined and described.I'd give this essay a 5 for this level, but an 8 if it were a 9th grader or lower.
